On the afternoon of July 8, 2016, “Zhongkexi precision Medical Treatment High Forum”, which was hosted by Literature Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhongkeda Incubator and the Magazine High-Technology & Industrialization, assisted by Peking University Langrun Liren Medical Association, the Sequencing of China and Investment Directors’ Club, and supported by the think tank offered by the Internet Medical China, was held in Beijing.
The forum is aimed at showing the latest results and technologies in precision medical treatment field, discussing the development status and prospect of precision medical treatment industry and setting up the platform for the communication of academic circle, industrial circle and investment circle.
The first link of the forum was guest speech. Xiwen Liu, the vice-director of Literature Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, made a speech. He expressed that Literature Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences is the largest and professional sci-tech information institution, which provides important scientific and technological information for scientific research innovation of the institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences. At the same time, the center also dedicates in combining scientific and technological information with innovation and entrepreneurship, which provides timely and deep knowledge service for venture capital and industrial development and offers support for transfer and transformation of sci-tech achievements through the integration of center information, intelligence and personnel network. He hoped that this high forum could build consensus, gather strength to promote the healthy development of precision medical treatment industry.
The second link of the forum was “information release of precision medical treatment industry”. The analytical experts from Literature Information Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fang Chen and Wenjiao Guo, respectively released technical intelligence, Large-Scale Gene Sequencing and Personalized Medicine, Biological Chip & Molecular Diagnosis of Cancer. They analyzed the technical progress in the niche of precision medical treatment industry, such as large-scale gene sequencing, biological chip, molecular diagnosis of cancer, etc. which has significant reference value for the field of investors.
The third link of the forum was the discussion and display of precision medical technology. In this link, the forum invited Yu Huang, the vice-director of Department of Genetics, School of Medicine, Peking University, to give a lecture named “Genetic Counseling before and after Gene Detection”. Jian Wu, a doctor of American Columbia University, gave a lecture named “The Application of Genomic sequencing in Precision Medical Treatment”, which displayed effective and accurate gene capture actual products that are based on the most advanced and stable gene capture technology and are applied in hematological system diseases, tumor, etc. Yiping Feng, chief expert of committee of experts of traditional Chinese medicine, made a speech named Stem Cell Technology Combing with Traditional Chinese Medicine, which displayed a variety of Chinese medicine drugs which combine with traditional Chinese medicine and stem cell technology.
It is learnt that the forum attracts more than 300 academic experts, industrial leaders and investors, etc. in precision medical treatment. The atmosphere in the forum is warm.
